Set along Landing Road, it is the kind of farmstand people remember by season, by smell, by color, and by habit. The first strawberries. The summer corn. The tomatoes stacked high. The porch flowers. The pumpkins. The familiar stop on the way home.

Generations of families have pulled into the stand for the same reason: they know what they are going to find. Fresh produce. Seasonal flowers. Local flavor. A friendly face. And that unmistakable feeling of a family business that has stayed true to itself. It is the kind of place where someone might stop for tomatoes and leave with flowers, a jar of something local, and dinner half-planned before they even get back to the car.

Cretinon's Farmstand is at 86 Landing Road in Kingston, open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Cretinon family has farmed the land since 1924, and the stand itself has served the South Shore since 1959 — more than 60 years of fresh seasonal produce and local specialty goods, from strawberries and sweet corn to local spice blends, jams, and homemade pickles. It's a short drive from Plymouth, Duxbury, and the rest of the South Shore, with on-site parking and easy access from Landing Road. Come see Bev and David at the stand.
